Motovan.com Amateur National Qualifiers are well under way in all CMRC regions of the country.

NOW is the time to get signed up for the Wiseco Amateur Grand National Championship at Walton TransCan as this is a limited entry event

If you are even vaguely thinking of entering this event do it NOW at www.motoregistry.ca because the date of entry may make a difference to your entry ranking and anyway if you have to cancel your entry you can do so easily at www.motoregistry.ca and get a refund . On line pre-entries are $75.00 until May 31. After June 1 Pre-entry is $80 per class.

Important stuff to know now ....

     ● If you want to pre-enter for a class you must participate in an ANQ Series event in that class to pre-enter so to be safe you may want to qualify and pre-enter additional classes in case you fail to qualify for your first choice.

     ● Deadlines for registration to be received by are as follows. Pre-entry June 19th, Late Pre-entry June 30th , Post entry July 31st and late post entry at the event.

     ● There is no beginner class. There is an 'B' group 125 Junior for a total of 84 entries.  There is an 'B' group for GP Junior for a total of 84 entries. A beginner class rider must either enter an age class such as Schoolboy, or Youth or advance in order to qualify as a Junior. 'B' group riders are ranked by the same criteria as all other classes.

     ● A new class has been added for 2009 - 65cc 7-9 and 65cc 10-11 will be split into two individual race classes. Riders can compete in one or the other, but not both. Where regional ANQs only run one class riders will be seeded into the appropriate age class based on ANQ result in the combined class.

     ● On line pre-entries are $75.00 until May 31. After June 1 Pre-entry is $80 per class. Register at www.motoregistry.ca. Courier or mail pre-entry fees are $90.00 Can. (Save $15 by registering on-line.) Post entries will only be accepted by on line registration for $100.00 Can.

Frequently Asked Questions ....

My region doesn't run all the classes listed

Due to smaller numbers a class may not be run at regional ANQs. If that happens GNC entries will be accepted based on date received up to the number allocated to that region.

When should I enter?

NOW would be a good time. We recommend that you send entries immediately. You do not have to wait until ANQs are completed. Sign up on-line now at www.motoregistry.ca

Do I need to qualify?

In order to pre-enter you must have participated in at least one qualifier so that you show up on the entry list for the class you are entering from your qualifying region.

What qualifier places automatically qualify?

Each region has gate positions allocated based on each regions membership. You are guaranteed a position if your entry is received by June 19 and you placed in the allocated positions in your regional qualifier series. Allocations as follows: Vancouver Island (2), BC Mainland (1), Alberta (7), Saskatchewan (2), Manitoba (3) Northern Ontario (1), Central Ontario (1), South Western Ontario (11), Eastern Ontario(3), Quebec (7), Atlantic (4)

I didn't qualify in the ANQ's, can I still enter?

If your qualifier position is lower than your region's allocated positions, you may still get a starting position based on riders that qualified in your region that did not enter the Walton GNC. If other regions' entries do not fill their allocated positions, these will be filled based on the date the entry form is received. So your best bet is to Sign up on-line now at www.motoregistry.ca

How do I pay?

Use your bank account, MasterCard/Visa/Amex cards or PayPal account for payment when you sign up on-line at www.motoregistry.ca. On line pre-entries are $75.00 until May 31. After June 1 Pre-entry is $80 per class. Register at www.motoregistry.ca.

Courier or mail pre-entry fees are $90.00 Can. (Save $15 by registering on-line.) Mailed entries must be accompanied by a cheque or money order payable to Tite Racing Promotions Inc. to be valid. Cheques post dated are not acceptable. NSF or post dated cheques and improper funds will result in the entry being denied until funds are received.

Post entries will only be accepted by on line registration for $100.00 .  Motoregistry entries must be paid on-line.

What else do I need to know?

Confirmations will be mailed out following completion of regional qualifiers and after that on an as received basis. This will include a complete participants information package. The order of preference for first moto gate position, resolution of number conflicts and the order of standby entries are determined by qualifier position and date of entry. Your confirmation letter must be available at sign in if there are any problems with registration so hang on to it.

Can I cancel my entry?

Yes. If you enter on-line through www.motoregistry.ca simply log into your account and cancel the entry. The PayPal transaction will be automatically reversed.

Otherwise a written request must be received by Aug 1 with a copy of the original confirmation mailing received by mail/email. Entry refunds will be administered to riders that are injured and send written confirmation before August 1st. Refunds less handling charges will be mailed out following the event.

Riders with paid entry that are denied entry into the Walton GNC must submit written confirmation before August 16th. All refunds will be issued after the Walton GNC.

What are the entry deadlines?

This is a limited entry event with up to a full gate of 42 in each class. (Note exceptions above for MX2 Junior and MX3 Junior) Date received will be the deciding factor in determining order of entry after seeding qualifier positions. Pre-entries for riders who rode their qualifiers must be received no later than June 19. Gate positions allocated to each region (quantity based on regional membership) will be assigned at that time. After June 19 qualified entries will be accepted on a first come basis for standby or open positions. After June 30 all entries will be accepted on a first come basis for standby or open positions.

What is a standby entry?

When a gate is full, we maintain a list of riders who want to ride in a particular class. If there are cancellations or no shows, the gate will be filled from the standby list in the order entries were received.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

(Stouffville, ON – April 27)

$50,000 Series Purse Posted for “Mac’s Shootout”

Mac’s Convenience stores in conjunction with Monster Energy will post $50,000 in cash for the new “Mac’s Shootout” at the completion of the 2009 CMRC Monster Energy Motocross Nationals.

Series points earned in either the MX1 and MX2 classes will be combined to determine the top twenty riders that will earn their share of the series purse. $10,000 will be awarded to the winner! The rider scoring the greatest number of moto wins will receive a $2,500 bonus!

The payout schedule will be as follows:

1. $10,000 2. $7,500 3. $5,000 4. $4,000 5. $3,500 6. $3,000 7. $2,500 8. $2,000 9. $1,500 10. $1,000 11. $1,000 12. $1,000 13. $1,000 14. $1,000 15. $1,000 16. $500 17. $500 18. $500 19. $500 20. $500

Most moto wins: $2,500

No longer will competitors be happy with their points lead in their respective class. They’ll be focused on the Mac’s Shootout, and they know their counterpart in the other national class will have the same vision.

No matter what, the chase can only be settled after the last round and the last moto. Fantasy leagues, chat forums, the media, and television personalities will be talking this up all summer long!
